EB: Can’t find my notes right now (ro maybe I even posted them somewhere else?…), so pictures will have to suffice. The traipsing Trio took a train north from Gdansk to Sopol on NEw Years Day, because I had heard there was a sauna on the Baltic Sea! Arrangements were a little vague, and we were re-scheduled once, so I tried to be mature about the possibility the event would fall through.
NO! We walked up the beach boardwalk and spotted the wooden box-like buildings. Checked in, waited and VOILA—
a magnificanet alder-lined sauna, replete with picture window out to the sea and a sand beach to run down.
Something about saline dunks of cold water makes an epic sauna even more so.
If I disappear, see if the Solop 15 sauana has a new hired hand…..
